For advocacy groups and legal-aid desks

Hand the people you serve a method, not a notebook

Everyone in a dispute is told to “document everything” and given nothing to do it with. You can give them this.

Why a disciplined record helps

The people who come to you arrive in crisis, often with a phone and little else. Most have a story and a pile of screenshots. What they do not have is a record: dates in order, claims tied to what shows them, exact words with their source, and a clear list of what is still missing. That is what a lawyer, a hearing or a caseworker asks for first, and it is what takes a volunteer hours to assemble from a conversation.

CaseBuilder walks a person through building that record themselves, on their own phone, in plain language, at their own pace. Every claim is marked for what it is. Allegations stay allegations until something backs them. Feelings have a place, kept apart from evidence. The result reads the same to someone who believes the person and to someone who does not.

For your counsel, that means a chronology and an exhibit list exist on the first day instead of the fifth. For the person, it means the questions a careful reader would ask have already been asked, by them, before anyone else does.

Sponsored seats, at cost

The free version runs entirely on the person’s own device and costs them nothing. Paid features are the ones that cost us real money per person: a voice interview, reading scans and recordings, a review of the whole record, sync and a share for counsel. A group can buy a block of those paid seats for its people at what they cost us, with no margin. That is the channel this product exists for.

In the first release, a seat is redeemed with a group code at signup: you give the code to the people you serve, they enter it when they join, and the seat is theirs. There is nothing for your staff to administer and no list of names on our side. A fuller arrangement for larger groups comes when a group asks for it.

Nothing here exists yet. The product is being built now; this page is how a group gets notified first.

What we hold, and what we don’t

In the free version we hold nothing: the record lives on the device, and what we cannot read we cannot hand over. Paid features see only what they need, each under the person’s consent, with retention stated and deletion on request. The people you serve should also hear from you what we say at signup: a record kept in any app can be demanded in a proceeding, and the method, not the app, is the protection.

Not legal advice. A record you control. This is a tool for building a record. It is not counsel, and it does not replace yours.
